Supervision
In addition to my client work, I am also a qualified supervisor (having completed a Level 6 Diploma in Supervision). I therefore provide clinical supervision to both qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists.

For me, good supervision is key to good client work and also vital for the development and wellbeing of the therapist. My aim in supervision is to create a relationship that is supportive, non-judgemental and nurturing - so supervisees feel safe to open up and explore their challenges as well as celebrating their successes. I encourage and promote a climate of growth, supporting supervisees to develop their skills, knowledge, experience, self-reflection and confidence in their work.

I base my theoretical approach to supervision on an integration of Shohet and Hawkins seven-eyed process model and Inskipp and Proctor's functional model.

Supervision sessions can be conducted online or over the telephone, and my fee is currently £50 per hour although concessions are offered for students. Please note, I also offer an initial free 30 minute appointment so we can get to know one another a little more and discuss how we might work together moving forward.
